American Vision is teaming up with Coral Ridge Ministries, Family Research Council, American Family Association, Liberty Counsel, and the Alliance Defense Fund to hold a special seminar called Pastors, Pulpits, and Politics: Christian Rules of Engagement. The goal of this event is to teach Christian leaders what the Bible (and the IRS) say about Christian political involvement. At this time in our nation’s history, Christians need to work together more than ever before.
This special seminar, which will be held at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, April 19, will give clear direction and advice on what is and what is not legally permissible for churches in terms of advancing political views.
Pastors, Pulpits, and Politics: Christian Rules of Engagement offers answers and outlines the rules for Christian political involvement.
Seminar speakers are Gary DeMar, President of American Vision; Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council; Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel; and Jordan Lorence, Senior Counsel and Senior Vice President of Alliance Defense Fund. The American Family Association and Vision America, along with the seminar speakers’ organizations, are co-sponsors with Coral Ridge Ministries of the event.
The event is from 7-9 PM (EST) and will be webcast live for those who aren’t able to attend in person. Click here to find out more about the webcast. SkyAngel television network will also be carrying the event in two special showings. Click here to find out more about the broadcasts and the event in general.
